Newly-promoted Hohoe United will be eager to return to winning ways when they welcome table-toppers Medeama SC to the Hohoe Sports Stadium on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in a highly anticipated Premier League match.
The Hohoe-based side endured a tough end to October, suffering consecutive 2–0 defeats to Aduana FC at home and FC Samartex 1996 away. Despite those setbacks, Hohoe United remain 10th on the league table with 8 points, having scored 7 goals and conceded 8.
As debutants in the top flight, they have shown promise, particularly at home, where they’ve been a tough opponent to beat. The Mauve and Yellow have also been among the league’s most balanced sides this season, boasting both the best attack (12 goals) and one of the strongest defenses (4 goals conceded). However, their away form remains a concern, they’ve managed just one win from two away matches this season and have struggled on the road historically, with only one victory in their last 13 away league games (W1, D1, L11) since November 2024.
With contrasting home and away fortunes at play, Saturday’s clash sets up an intriguing battle. Hohoe United will be desperate to make a statement against the league leaders, while Medeama will aim to maintain their position at the summit and finally put their away troubles to rest.
