Asante Kotoko midfielder Hubert Gyau has sight on Hearts of Oak after netting a staggering brace to inspire a 4-2 victory over Karela United.
The win provided a much-needed boost for the Porcupine Warriors, who are building momentum ahead of a crucial showdown with arch-rivals Hearts of Oak.
Speaking after the match, Gyau noted that beating their rivals is nonnegotiable.
“It’s a must win and we are looking forward to the Accra Hearts of Oak match,” he said, signaling his readiness for the highly anticipated fixture.
Kotoko will travel to face Hearts of Oak on Sunday, November 9, 2025, in what promises to be a fiery clash. Remarkably, both clubs remain unbeaten in the league so far this season.
Hearts, with four wins and four draws, currently sit third on the table with 16 points. Kotoko, despite being in 8th place with 11 points, have three games in hand.
