It’s official as Congolese women’s club TP Mazembe captured the signature of Ghanaian player Portia Boakye. The Black Queens captain joined TP Mazembe from Hapoel Petah Tikva.
She signed a two year contract following a successful negotiations on Wednesday.
Portia joins three of her compatriots Grace Acheampong, Gifty Assifuah, and Thelma Baffour as she is expected to play a huge role in the team’s success.
With TP Mazembe hoping to defend the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions league title, the experienced midfielder will be playing an integral part in the team.
Portia joined Black Queens in 2010 and still a reliable tool for the West African country.
