Asante Kotoko captain Samba O’Niel has stated that defensive discipline will be the top priority when the Porcupine Warriors face rivals Hearts of Oak in the upcoming Super Clash on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
Speaking to the club’s media, O’Niel reflected on the team’s performance in 4-2 win over Karela and expressed disappointment at conceding twice despite securing victory.
“Our main job is to keep a clean sheet and we will try to do that on Sunday. The last time we played well but conceded two goals (in a 4-2 win), and I was sad because we didn’t do our job by getting a clean sheet. We will do better next time,” he vowed.
Kotoko will visit their fierce rivals for the biggest fixture on the Ghanaian football calendar. The game will come off at Accra Sports Stadium at 16:00 GMT kick-off time.
