Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak SC, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani believes his outfit did not deserve to lose against bitter rivals Asante Kotoko SC on Sunday in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier league week 9 fixture- Super clash.

Hearts of Oak SC lost 1-0 at full time courtesy Donzo Morifing strike from 12-yards in the first half of the encounter. Despite, the Phobias dominating play in the first 20′ minutes of game, lost focus to Asante Kotoko SC, who took charge to detect pace of game.

At last, Peter Amidu had to torment the Phobians back line which saw them commit in the box. leading to a penalty infringement.

Kotoko broke the deadlock and returned from break to show pure dominance in the second department of the super clash. To the surprise of Hearts of Oak bench, no antidote was found to score s leveller after a late offside goal was disallowed by the assistant line two.

Didi Dramani reacting to the defeat, at post-match insist Hearts of Oak SC didn’t deserve to suffer a defeat in this game since they were better.

“We lost. I think we didn’t deserve to lose, in my opinion, and everyone who observed the game, not just watching”

“We didn’t do well in some areas, and we need to improve. The game is over, we have learnt a lot from ourselves and the opponents.”

The defeat means, Hearts of Oak SC 8 games unbeaten run ends.

The Continental Club Masters will next face Swedru All Blacks in week 10 of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier league.
