Head coach of FC Samartex 1996, Christopher Ennin says he can not afford to lose at home this weekend to giants Asante Kotoko SC. The Timber Giants will host Asante Kotoko SC in week 11 fixture of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier league.
In five home matches, Samartex 1996 are unbeaten harvesting four wins and a draw though they have have two defeats in their last five league matches.
They remain formidable at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena and bent on cruising with a win over the Reds on Sunday November 23, 2025.
Ahead of the encounter, Christopher Ennin has hinted that he’s outfit are poised on keeping their home dominance and not bow to Asante Kotoko SC.
“I can’t stand to lose at home; we will continue with our unbeaten run”
“Sunday will be one of the good games we will play in the Ghana Premier League, considering the form of Kotoko, their confidence level and their winning mentality, and our home games are intense, so it’s going to be a good game, but we are in for the three points.” He told GSN.
Kotoko head into this fixture as the league’s only unbeaten side (W5, D4), sitting 4th with 19 points after strong results against Aduana FC and Young Apostles.
