Eleven Wonders head coach Emmanuel Aidoo says he is positive about his team’s chances of avoiding relegation following their crucial victory over Dreams FC.
The Techiman-based side secured all three points after a 2-0 win on Monday, a result that came with added personal significance for the coach.
“Winning against Dreams FC is a great feeling. You know, today is my birthday, so I told my boys, and they asked me what I wanted. I told them to win this match for me, and that’s what they have done,” Aidoo said.
Despite the joy of the victory, the coach made it clear that the celebrations would be short-lived as the team remains in a difficult position on the league table.
“The celebration ends right here because where we are sitting on the league table is not good. We will put these three points somewhere, and we will push for more points in the upcoming games.”
The win provides a vital boost to Eleven Wonders’ survival hopes as they seek to climb out of the relegation zone.
They sit rock bottom with 6 points, trailing 6 points off safety after matchday 12.
