Accra Hearts of Oak SC is on the verge of losing forward Hamza Issah for refusal to pay him for three months. The Continental Club Masters for 3-months, not being able to settle their players monthly salary, hence Hamza Issah seeks contract termination.
The Ghanaian forward has not received salary for the month of September, October and November despite having a contractual monthly agreement of GHC 5, 000.
Hamza’s agency PROSPORTS has notified the club and also copied the Ghana Football Association on grounds of terminating contract with Accra Hearts of Oak SC.
Following the inability of solving this amicably with Hearts of Oak SC, PROSPORTS is evoking FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP), which automatically allows a player to terminate his contract with a club if he goes unpaid for over two months.
With the above, Hamza’s agency believes Hearts of Oak SC has breached the contract hence seeking contract termination.
However, for Hearts of Oak to avoid this, would have to settle the arrears of Hamza Issah and termination of contract will be halted.
