It’s official, Asante Kotoko SC have gone unbeaten at home since last season campaign. The Porcupine Warriors have now secured an 18 unbeaten home streak record in the Ghana Premier league, after humbling Dreams FC on Sunday at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Premier league heavyweights, last lost was against Nsoatreman FC in April 11, 2024 thus a 2-1 defeat.
Kotoko with a late minute goal from striker Kwame Poku, gave them all points and a narrow victory at home against Dreams FC, hence extending their home run to 18 since last season.
Through this run, Kotoko have harvested 14 wins and 4 draws including their last three matches against Young Apostles, Medeama SC and Dreams FC.
This is their outright longest ever winning streak in the competition for over a decade now.
Coach Abdul Karim Zito’s performance has guaranteed his side the 3rd placed position on the 2025/26 Ghana Premier league table with 24 points, just three points adrift Aduana Stars FC who is summit.
