Member of Asante Kotoko SC Interim Management Committee (IMC), Kwesi Appiah has called on supporters of the club to remain calm and patient amid poor form and inconsistency in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier league.
Asante Kotoko SC in their last five league matches, accumulated just five points from a possible 15 having won one and draw twice.
Their inconsistency, does not offer a path way to pursue the league title leaving Kotoko 3rd on the log with 24 points. Following their struggles, Kwesi Appiah has urged the fans to be patient on calling for the sack of head coach Abdul Karim Zito.
“Team building is a gradual process, and we all need to be patient”, he told Akoma FM.
“We are doing our best and while some decisions may not always be right, they offer valuable reasons”.
With the Porcupine Warriors not losing sight on the title race, Appiah affirmed that; “Our desire and hope are to win the Ghana Premier league title, but above all, we are prepared to fight to the very end”.
The Reds will hope to increase their pace for the title when they face Eleven Wonders FC in week 15 clash at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
