Asante Kotoko are currently holding an emergency meeting to discuss the future of head coach Karim Zito following the club’s recent struggles.
The high-level meeting is being attended by Technical Director Malik Jabir, Interim Management Committee (IMC) Chairman Nana Apinkra, and IMC member Kwesi Appiah, highlighting the seriousness of the situation.
Sources have revealed to GhanaSportsPage that Sudan assistant manager Ignatius Osei-Fosu is being considered as a possible replacement for Zito, should the club decide to make a change.
Osei-Fosu could be appointed as interim manager until the end of the season.
Asante Kotoko have been battling inconsistency throughout the season. After ending a four winless streak with three straight wins, the Reds have failed to win their last two matches losing one and drawing one.
They are fourth on the table with 31 points after 18 games, sitting 6 points behind leaders Medeama.
