Bibiani Gold Stars FC’s pursuit of the Premier League summit suffered a setback last weekend as they fell to a narrow 1–0 defeat away to Bechem United.
The loss halted their momentum just as they were closing in on leaders Medeama SC, leaving the defending champions five points adrift and dropping them to third on the table with 32 points after 18 matches their sixth defeat of the campaign.
