The CEO of Burniton Music Group, Livingston Etse Satekla popularly known as Stonebwoy has eulogized Kamaldeen Sulemana top talent and believes Africa and the football world have yet to see the full potential of the Ghana international, having battled with injuries for seasons now.
The winger rose to play in the English Premiership – undoubtedly the best league in the world but that was for just a season as his club Southampton suffered relegation.
Kamaldeen’s potential was spotted and highly recommended by several Premier league clubs but landed with the Saints on a club record fee. Southampton paid club-record £22m for the winger in 2023 but had two seasons spell as injuries made way to his career.
He failed to impress, hence decision by Southampton to offer him to Italian Serie A side Atalanta BC in 2025. The 23-year old in the ongoing season, have made 20 appearance in the league and UEFA Champions league combined scoring two goals with just an assist.
Despite, graduating from Right To Dream Academy and passing through the ranks of Nordsjaelland have struggled to play consistently.
Speaking with ESPN, Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy said, the potential of Sulemana is huge referring it to witchcraft but urging the world to wait for his explosion.
“He’s a Witchcraft, What we are seeing isn’t even close to his potential. we just pray that injury don’t find him and he get more opportunities to showcase what he can”
“Black stars team is the Best in Africa so he’s a Baller”
Currently, Sulemana battles with Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman for the left side of Atalanta BC attack but expected to prove his worth before June when the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks-off.
