Accra Hearts of Oak SC coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani fumed over some decisions of referee Jacob Aduntera in their goalless drawn game against Berekum Chelsea FC on Sunday.
The Continental Club Masters were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw at the University of Ghana stadium, seeing the host chances of mounting pressure on top spot not seeing daylight. It was a game dominated by Hearts of Oak SC with majority of chance created going their way but founding the back of net, was always deniable by Chelsea shot-stopper Eric Ofori Antwi.
Despite, Samuel Tenadu leading charges to dominate play in midfield for Chelsea, the Phobias looked formidable but always sluggish at goal.
With the draw against Chelsea marking Hearts of Oak SC third straight home draw having suffered same fate with Dreams FC and Bechem United FC, gaffer Didi Dramani reacted to some decisions of referee Jacob Aduntera in the course of game.
“Berekum Chelsea players kept going down to break the rhythm of the game. The referee should have cautioned them.”
“You were here, you saw it when someone can fake an injury, he gets down and nothing happens to him and then he loses the tempo of the game when we [Hearts of Oak ] want to keep the intensity of game going and he slows down taking 30 seconds and then the rhythm is lost”, Didi fumed.
“And this you need to be smart enough [referee] to know they have done it two or three times and am aware about that but nothing happens to him”
The result leaves Hearts of Oak still 3rd on the log with 40 points following a successful round of week 23 fixtures.
WHAT NEXT?
The Phobias after their draw, will turn attention to week 24 game where they journey to Dun’s park to face Bibiani GoldStars FC on Sunday March 01, 2026.
