Former Ghana international Samuel Osei Kuffour is reportedly set to be appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko SC.
According to reports, the ex-Ghana national football team defender could soon take up a key administrative role at the Kumasi-based club as part of efforts to strengthen its leadership structure.
Kuffour, widely regarded as one of Ghana’s most successful footballers, enjoyed a distinguished playing career in Europe, most notably with FC Bayern Munich, where he won numerous domestic and international titles including the UEFA Champions League.
His potential appointment is expected to bring extensive football experience and international exposure to the management of Kotoko as the club looks to rebuild and compete strongly both domestically and on the continental stage.
While the club is yet to officially confirm the appointment, reports indicate that the move could be finalized in the coming days.
