Accra Hearts of Oak head coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has praised the quality of the Accra Sports Stadium pitch, describing it as the best in the country.
The Phobians beat Young Apostles at the Accra Sports Stadium 1-0 with Frank Duku scoring the match winner in the 35th minute.
Hearts of Oak has now returned to winning ways after a four-game winless run.
Speaking after his side’s recent outing, Dramani emphasized the importance of good playing surfaces in modern football, noting that quality pitches allow teams to express themselves better.
“Every team wants to play on a very good pitch so that you can pass the ball. The Accra Sports Stadium has the best pitch in Ghana,” he stated.
The experienced tactician believes improved pitch conditions across the country will enhance the overall quality of the Ghana Premier League, enabling teams to play more fluid and attractive football.
His comments come amid ongoing discussions about infrastructure and playing conditions in Ghanaian football, with many stakeholders calling for upgrades to various venues nationwide.
Meanwhile, the victory lifts Hearts of Oak to third place on the league table with 46 points, five behind leaders Bibiani Gold Stars FC, keeping their title hopes alive with six matches remaining.
