The Angola Football Federation has officially appointed former Senegalese international Aliou Cisse as their men’s team coach, following a successful negotiations later Thursday.
The former Senegal coach Aliou Cisse after agreeing terms with the African country signed a long term contract as their new headcoach. He is expected to lead the side to the next African Cup of Nations and build a formidable squad.
Cisse won the 2021 African Cup of Nations with Senegal before leaving in October 2024
He served as Libya headcoach from 2025-2026
Among his honours; Afcon 2021 title, Afcon runners up 2019, Afcon Coach of the Tournament 2021, Caf Coach of the Year 2022.
