The defending champions of the MTN FA Cup, Hearts of Oak have strengthened its technical team ahead of the start of the 2022/23 football season.
In an official club statement, it has been confirmed that Moses Bamutu Mahama has been appointed as the new welfare manager. “Mr. Moses Bamutu Mahama joins Hearts technical team as the new Welfare Manager. He joins Hearts from WAFA and he will bring his experience to bare on the team,” a statement on the website of Hearts of Oak has said.
“I am happy to join this great team. We will work hard to achieve a positive result at the end of the season,” Moses Bamutu Mahama said.
The team has arrived in the Ashanti Region for the second phase of their pre-season training ahead of the upcoming season.
Hearts of Oak were supposed to square off Asante Kotoko in a Super Cup game but it has been cancelled by the Ghana Football Association.
They will return to Accra two weeks later to prepare for their season opener against Aduana Stars in Dormaa.
