Akoto scored in Doxa Katokopia’s away victory against Enosis Neon Paralimniou in the Cyprus Division 1 League week 3 fixture.
The Ghanaian international and the former Atletico Madrid B graduate netted his debut goal of the season for his team this term.
Enosis Paralimniou scored first inside 39th minute through a brilliant strike from French international, Julien Lamy.
At the 49th minute, Benin midfielder, Tijani Anaane grabbed the equalizing goal for Doxa before the Ghanaian international, Asamoah scored the winning goal to snatch away win for his team.
Doxa won the game with a 2-1 scoreline to claim their first three points of the season.
