The day is set for the CAF Champions League preliminary round return leg clash between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Rail Club du Kadiogo.
Kotoko will host the Burkinabé side at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium at exactly 15:00GMT (3:00pm local time).
The Porcupine Warriors will be heading into the second leg with a 1-0 win from the first leg at Cotonou last Monday. The win becomes Kotoko’s first away victory in the CAF Champions League since 2013 after beating Sony de Ela Nguema of Equatorial Guinea at the own backyard 9 years ago.
Asante Kotoko won the first leg at Kumasi 7-0 before claiming another 1-0 victory in the return leg in Malabo.
The Porcupine Warriors will go out in a bid to secure a clean sheet or triumph to progress.
Asante Kotoko have had squad boost for the second leg after the return of some key men who missed the clash in Benin due to injuries. Ivorian International Eric Serge Zeze, Patrick Asamah, Maxwell Agyemang have joined their team-mates since the club’s return from Benin.
In our probable line-up for today’s game, Coach Seydou Zerbo is likely to maintain the team that commenced their first leg in Benin on Monday.
As usual, Ibrahim Danlad will be kept in post ahead of Moise Pouaty and Frederick Asare.
Christopher Nettey, John Tedeku, Yussif Mubarik and Sherrif Mohammed start from defense.
Richard Boadu who is leading the team as the skipper will also partner Richmond Lamptey and Enoch Morrison in the midfield while Isaac Oppong, Georges Mfegue assist Steven Mukwala upfront.
