Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak officially trained for the first time at the Pobiman Sports Complex today ahead of Sunday’s Super Clash.
The team is poised to pick their first three points of the season against Kumasi Asante Kotoko on week three of the BetPawa Premier League to be held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Ghanaian giants have in recent times trained at different venues for their matches but opted to have the feeling of the new grass at Pobiman as part of preparations for Sunday’s game.
Hearts Of Oak signed a contract with K.A Estate Limited under the supervision of Turkish construction firm Prefabex for the construction of the sports complex last year. The project has seen a massive improvement in the last few months after the club prioritised the development of its infrastructure.
The 20 acre ultra modern sporting academy will have dormitories to house players, 3 pitches, mini stadium, volleyball, basketball, gymnasium, swimming pool, staff residence, training centres etc.
