Marquihos’ early strike and Richarlison’s brace inspired the Selecao into a 3-0 victory over the Black Stars of Ghana at the Stade Oceane, Le Havre – France.
The Selecao opened the scoring after just nine minutes when Raphinha’s cross from a corner-kick on the right found the incoming Marquinhos who broke the deadlock with a clinical header.
Tite’s men doubled their lead after 28 minutes when a stunning through ball by Neymar found Richarlison on the edge of the box from which he fired a strike to beat Jojo Wollacott.
The Tottenham star completed a brace five minutes before half-time when he picked up a wonderful cross by Neymar and beat Charlton keeper Wollacott with a powerful header.
