Burkunabé tactician, Seydou Zerbo insists Asante Kotoko will have to work on their finishing ahead of their next fixtures in the Ghanaian top-flight league.
The GPL title holders managed to play a 1-1 draw with Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
They came close for taking the three points but Caleb Amankwah scored late to cancel out Yussif Mubarik’s 57th minute goal.
Asante Kotoko have scored two goals in three games after the appointment of Seydou Zerbo.
The coach giving his closing remarks about their league opener against the Rainbows hinted out the problem of his team, claiming they have to work assiduously on their finishing ahead of their subsequent fixtures.
“Yes, last week we all saw the performance of the players. In fact it was very disappointing but today they showed that indeed they are here for action.
“We still need to work more on our finishing. You saw that we had a lot of chances but unfortunately we couldn’t use them but we will go back and work so that the attackers can score in our next matches,” the Burkunabé tactician said.
Asante Kotoko will in their next fixture of the Ghana Premier League welcome Nsoatremang FC to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium before playing as a guest to King Faisal at the same venue.
