Accra Hearts of Oak have unveiled Serbian tactician, Slavko Matić as the new head coach of the club.
The 46-year-old has been given a two-year deal to lead the club following the departure of Coach Samuel Boadu.
As confirmed by Ghanasportspage.com, Slavko Matić landed in Ghana on Tuesday, October 11 to take over the Hearts of Oak vacant head coach role.
Matić’s immediate assignment will be to get the team in shape when the suspended Ghana Premier League resumes.
Hearts of Oak are without a win in three league games and have exited the CAF Confederations Cup.
Matic will be assisted by David Ocloo as Assistant Coach, Richard Oppong as Goalkeeper’s trainer, Youth Team Coach, Samuel Nii Noi and Fitness Coach, Enock Jordan Daitey.
The UEFA Pro Licence holder has had stints in his native Serbia, China, Qatar and Slovenia.
Matić last coached Bulgarian side, Septemvri Sofia this year.
