An international friendly game between Central American country, Belize, and Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have been canceled.
The Porcupines were scheduled to engage the Belize national team, nicknamed ‘Jaguars’ in two procession games which were to be held at the FFB Stadium in Belize.
However, on Friday evening, the hierarchy of the Belize Football Federation announced the cancellation of the game through their Facebook page.
According to the release, the technical team of Belize are struggling to raise a team for the game due to their ongoing top-flight.
The friendlies were made possible by the Mayor of Belmopan City, Her Worship Sheran Palacio.
The two games were scheduled to be held on November 18th and 20th tentatively during the Major of Belmopan’s investors conference.
