Head coach for Bibiani Gold Stars, Michael Osei has reacted to their week four clash against Bibiani Gold Stars.
The betPawa Premier League will resume on Saturday with Hearts of Oak who are without a win in their last three games hosting Bibiani Gold Stars at the Accra Sports stadium. The Bibiani lads come into the match with only one away win in their Premier League history.
Coming into the game as underdogs, the Golden Boys gaffer says they have to be tactically disciplined to frustrate the Rainbows who have emerged as winners in the last two meetings.
“We were already prepared, we were training, we didn’t go for a break during the suspension [of the league],” Osei told Radio Gold in an interview.
“Whether it’s early or it’s not early, we need to go for the game.
“We are coming to Accra to play Hearts of Oak, the team that is one of the best in the league.
“We have to prepare very well, psychologically, physically and mentally because it’s a game that we have to be tactically disciplined so that we can frustrate them and get the points and come back to Bibiani.”
Gold Stars are found on the 13th with three points.
They opened the season with two defeats against Dreams FC (1-0) and Nsoatreman FC (1-0) before picking their first win against Bechem United (1-0) on Matchday three. Accra Hearts of Oak have drawn two and lost one of their first three matches of the season – a performance that resulted in the dismissal of Samuel Boadu.
