Reports claim that Hearts of Oak forward, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh could leave the club after the World Cup in January.

With the news of this, the Phobians will be forced to go out for a possible replacement for the 21-year-old stylish player who is on national duty with the Black Stars.

According to reports, Barnieh could be set for a move away from the club as some European clubs are set to monitor his progress at the World Cup whenever Otto Addo gives him the opportunity.

However, talks are said to be accelerating with the player’s management and the story suggests that Barnieh is ready to say goodbye to the Phobians after the Mundial on a free transfer.

Ghanasportspage.com can reveal that some unknown clubs have presented their maiden offer to his management.

Barnieh’s contract with the team ends on December 31st this year and has decided against extending his stay with the Accra-based outfit.

The 21-year-old and his representatives have informed the Hearts hierarchy as they look for a greener environment to continue to his footballing career.

Hearts and Slavko Matić were hopeful that the young attacker would extend his contract after two years.

Having won the U-20 AFCON and helped the Black Galaxies to qualify for the CHAN tournament for the first time since 2014, Barnieh has appeared as one of the best players in the local league.

He has been successful in winning the Premier League, two FA Cup trophies, and the Super Cup.
