Coach Otto has named a formidable starting XI for this afternoon’s make-or-break encounter against South Korea.
Ghana will be looking to keep their slim hopes of reaching the knockout stage alive with a win against the Asians.
However, it’s going to be a tall order for the Black Stars who succumbed to a 3-2 defeat against Portugal at the Stadium 974 on Thursday in their World Cup opener.
But a result for Ghana would put them in pole position before their game against Uruguay.
The Black Stars will go into the game feeling reasonably confident having demonstrated a good display despite their defeat to Portugal.
The team’s line up for the tie has goalkeeper Ati Zigi in goal – Amartey, Djiku, Salisu, Mensah and Lamptey start from defence.
The midfield contains Kudus Mohammed, Thomas Partey and Abdul Samed while Inaki Williams leads the lines.
Andre Ayew will leading team as the captain this afternoon as they hope to record their first victory.
Kudus and Andre Ayew will not feature against the Uruguay, should they pick up yellow cards in today’s game.
