Hearts of Oak attacker, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has interest from Saudi Arabian top-flight side as he prepares to leave the Rainbows in the next few days.
Barnieh’s contract with the GPL giants will expire on December 31, 2022.
According to report, the Ghanaian youngster is expected to leave Hearts of Oak, and there is interest also coming from Europe but the Saudi Arabian side are currently leading the race.
Even though the attacking midfielder couldn’t justify himself at the World Cup but the friendly game against Switzerland and his presence in the Black Stars squad for the tournament has impressed the the club from the Gulf to present a huge offer for the 21-year-old Ghanaian footballer.
We can confirm that Barnieh’s value is now in the region of €1.2million according to his agents.
There are clubs in Belgium, Switzerland, and Austria who are also negotiating with the player’s management for his services.
Daniel Afriyie Barnieh joined the Ghana Premier League giants in 2020 and has become one of the outstanding players in the Ghana Premier League.
He was named among the Black Stars 26-man squad to represent the nation at the World Cup.
He led the Black Satellites to win the U-20 AFCON, beating Uganda in the final before helping Hearts of to win both the GPL title and the FA Cup title after the 2020/21 season.
Barnieh also played a pivotal role in the Rainbows last season’s President’s Cup and FA Cup glory, scoring in both games to secure the Phobians a spot in the CAF Confederations Cup.
