There were no goals, but plenty of entertainment as Bofoakwa Tano and Asante Kotoko played out a goalless draw at the Sunyani Coronation Park.
Asante Kotoko who lined-up with Moise Poauty, Charles Owusu, Steven Mukwala, Yussif Mubarik, Richmond Lamptey, Andrews Appau, Richard Boadu, Justice Blay, Samuel Appiah, Steven Amankona, and Georges Mfegue edged the game and should have taken advantage of chances for Mukwala and, especially, Mfegue, who missed a great opportunity in what proved to be the nearest the game would come to a goal.
The hosts, Bofoakwa Tano also came in to the game with interesting display but on this occasion they were not lucky to stun the Porcupines as the game ended with no goal.
Kotoko resumed training few days ago. They are hoping to get back to winning ways when the league resumes after World Cup.
They entered the game back from their 2-0 defeat against RTU in their last Premier League fixture before the World Cup break.
They are 3rd on the league table with 14 points, just two points behind the leaders Aduana Stars after eight matches played so far.
Kotoko will take on Berekum Chelsea when the Premier League resumes on Wednesday, 21st December, 2022 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
