Former Ghanaian striker, Prince Tagoe has advised Hearts of Oak forward, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh to take his time in deciding whether he should leave his club, with a host of giants prepared to offer vast sums to capture the youngster.
In conversation with Angel Tv, Tagoe counselled the Phobian star “not to rush any decision” to exit the Ghanaian league, with top clubs from Europe and Asia monitoring his game.
“I rejected an offer from PSG in 2006 to complete a season at Hearts of Oak and I was the Top Scorer.
I moved to Saudi for €2m the following year and had good offers from Europe.
Afriyie Barnieh shouldn’t rush to leave Hearts of Oak.”
According to reports, an unnamed European outfits have already proposed to sign the player.
The Rainbows attempts to convince the player to extend his contract have so far been insufficient, with Barnieh’s offers from elsewhere far exceeding their proposed salary.
His contract with the Rainbows will expire at the conclusion of the year. He looks closer than ever to leave.
