Former Accra Hearts of Oak forward, Abednego Tetteh has explained why he is dragging his former side to court.
The player sadly confirmed that he is taking on his former employers responsible after discovering that his Social Security and national insurance trust contribution hasn’t been paid.
Tetteh claimed the management of Accra hearts of oak failed to pay his mandatory SSNIT contribution although they made a whopping 12% of his basic salary towards the contribution.
“I spent two years with Hearts of Oak after joining them in 2019 and it was in the contract that 12% percent will be deducted for SSNIT contribution but after two years nothing shows they paid, meanwhile they were ducting it from my salary. I went to the SSNIT office and confirmed it.” He told Ghanasportspage.com.
Abednego Tetteh signed a three-year deal with the Accra Hearts of Oak after returning from Sudan in early January 2020 but his contract was mutually terminated after failing to make an impact at the Accra-based club.
Zlatan, as he is affectionately called by the Hearts of Oak fans, left the club with two medals, having won the Ghana Premier League and the MTN FA Cup last season.
Abednego Tetteh has informed the officials of SSNIT to enforce the law so his contribution can be credited.
The former Bechem United striker after initial injury worries has recovered fully and has started enjoying his stay with King Faisal so far.
