Accra Hearts of Oak coach Slavko Matic will arrive in the country on, Wednesday 11th January 2023 to continue from where he left off with the Phobians.
The Serbian has been away on medical grounds since last week and he’s expected in the country anytime soon.
Hearts of Oak announced his departure on medical grounds last Wednesday with Assistant coach David Ocloo controlling the affairs of the team when they locked horns with newly promoted side Tamale City at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
A closed source has confirmed to ghanasportspage.com that, the Serbian will arrive in Ghana later on Wednesday to continue his duties at Accra Hearts of Oak. “after tomorrow(Tuesday) the coach will have more on the medical exam and come on Wednesday”, A close source told Ghanasportspage.com.
The Phobians came from behind to amass all three points. The 46-year-old Serbian tactician who replaced Samuel Boadu at the helm of affairs for the Phobians has supervised 8 games as head coach since his arrival and has 5 victories, 2 draws and losing 1 game in all competitions.
Accra Hearts of Oak will travel to Kumasi to face King Faisal on Thursday, 12th January 2023 in the Ghana Premier League matchday 12.
