Danlad Ibrahim has reacted to the Black Galaxies win over Sudan on Thursday in the Championship for African Nations (CHAN) Group C matchday 2 tie.
The home-based national team secured a 3-1 comeback win over the Sudanese national team at the Stade Chahid Hamlaoui courtesy of Hearts of Oak trio Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Konadu Yiadom and Suraj Seidu.
The Porcupine Warriors goalkeeper was at his brilliant best to deny Sudan and help Ghana secure vital win.
In a post sighted by Ghanasportspage.com on Facebook, Danlad said;
“We didn’t have any option than to make Ghana proud. We are determined to put smiles on the face of everyone.
“We shall do it. Ghana first,” said the former U-20 World Cup winner.
Ghana now sit second behind Madagascar after picking their first win. They have been awarded three points by CAF following Morocco’s withdrawal from the competition.
Sudan will now face Madagascar in their final Group C game and must win by a wide margin to stand any chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals.
