A section of Ghanaians have entered a mood praying asking for God’s protection and mercy on the former Chelsea player as he is trapped under rubble caused by an earthquake.
Search parties continue to look for victims from the disaster.Christian Atsu came from the bench to score the winner for Hatayspor in the Turkish league last night.
The former Newcastle player together with some technical staff of the club are trapped in the 7.8 magnitude earthquake.
Among the people praying is Sunderland player, Asamaoh Gyan who has on numerous occasions played with Atsu during his play days with theBlack Stars of Ghana.
The news of the unfortunate incident shook many who took to social media to pray for Atsu and the residents of Turkey.
