Kumasi Asante Kotoko are reportedly closing in on the signing of Cameroonian defender, Salomon Charles Banga Bindjeme.
The Cameroonian international will join the BetPawa Premier League champions on loan until the end of the season and there is no option to make the deal permanent, according to Ghanaian journalist Nuhu Adams.
Bana, 27, is ending his loan spell with Moroccan club Difaa El Jadida to join the Porcupine Warriors a after fallen out of favour in the team’s starting eleven.
The centre-back, who had an outstanding performance during the 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) joined Al Hilal from Difaa El Jadida in 2021 after impressing in the Moroccan league.
He was sent back to El Jadida in January 2023 on loan but the deal has been cancelled and will be heading to Ghana to sign a deal with the Reds.
Asante Kotoko are still aiming to boost their team for the title defence dream.
They have already signed mecurial midfielder Rashid Nortey and Brazilian striker Matheus Medieros in the just ended transfer window. Both Rashid and Matheus joined on a free transfer.
