Cameroonian international, Frank Etouga Mbella has tipped his former club, Kumasi Asante Kotoko to win the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
The Cameroonian striker helped the Porcupine Warriors to win the title last season after scoring 21 goals under Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.
Despite the team’s inconsistency this season, Mballa has boldly predicted that they will turn things around to defend the title.
The defending champions are winless in their last two games, leaving them in fourth place with 28 points – seven points behind leaders Aduana Stars. They have yet to pick a win in their last seven away games.
“I’ve been following the team and the performance. They have a good group. I sincerely think they will win the Ghana Premier League again,” he predicted in an interview with Ghanasportspage.com.
Etouga currently plies his trade for Al Masry SC in Egypt. He joined them in a deal worth around US$400,000 following his explosive performance in the Ghanaian league.
