Coach Slavko has spoken for the first time after he was brutally assaulted by Hearts of Oak fans today.
The Serbian tactician talked about the incident that dominated much of the headlines this morning following the team’s defeat to their city rivals Accra Great Olympic in a chat with a reliable source.
The source confirmed to Ghanasportspage.com that the Phobian gaffer was punched by some of the club’s supporters.
The gaffer further revealed that he is on his way to the hospital for medical attention after reporting the case to the police.
“They punched me and I am now going to the hospital after reporting the case to the police. It’s sad, I don’t understand their language but I will be fine”, a closed source told Ghanaportspage.com.
As reported, a section of Hearts Of Oak supporters stormed the club’s training grounds to halt their training this morning at the Pobiman Sports Complex.
The fans seem not be happy with the results of the club in recent games and expressed their displeasure after their loss to city rival Accra Great Olympics and called for the sacking of their coach Matic.
