Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko starboy, Eric Bekow has warned the reigning Ghanaian champions ahead of their game against Hearts of Oak.
The ex-Kotoko forward identified the Rainbows as dangerous side despite their current happenings.
Asante Kotoko cannot afford to let their heads drop and lose the President’s Cup title again but Bekow has notified them to be cautious.
“Hearts of Oak is more dangerous when they are in crisis so I will advise the current Kotoko players to be cautious of Hearts and prepare massively for the game and put in their all, Hearts is like a dead goat who fears no knife and they perform magic in their darkest time,” Eric Bekow disclosed during an interview with Kumasi FM.
He added, “Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko is not a platform to play but to serve.”
Hearts of Oak will be hosting the Porcupine Warriors at the Accra Sports Stadium in the BetPawa Premier League and the President’s Cup after their back-to-back defeats.
Wednesday was a frustrating afternoon for the Rainbows as they lost 1-0 to Great Olympics while Kotoko returned to winning ways after beating Bechem United in Kumasi.
The Rainbows current performance has become a problem for them. They also struggled to break down Aduana Stars on week 17 before losing to the Dade Boys.
