Angola Coach Pedro Goncalves has named a 26-man squad for their crucial [double-header] 3rd and 4th AFCON qualifiers against Ghana this month.
The Palancas Negras will travel to Ghana for the first leg of the tie on Thursday, March 23 at the Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium with the return fixture at Angola’s Luanda Sports Stadium on Monday, March 27.
Pedro Gonçalves hopes his team can secure two positive results against Ghana to boost their chances of qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations.
The 47-year-old experienced coach, Pedro Goncalves and his boys will commence camping on Monday 20th March 2023 before they travel to Ghana to face the Black Stars.
The Black Stars lead Group E with four [4] points following a 3-0 win over Madagascar and a 1-1 draw against Central African Republic.
