Reigning champions of the Ghana Premier League, Kumasi Asante Kotoko have announced their match squad for Sunday’s BetPawa Premier League matchday 23 clash with Medeama SC.
Isaac Oppong has returned to the team for the first time after long term absence. Augustine Agyapong is also back after he was dropped from the Black Meteors squad for the game against Algeria.
The Porcupine Warriors will welcome the Tarkwa-based side without their top-scorer Steven Mukwala. The striker is on national duty with the Ugandan national team. Justice Blay and youngster, Rocky Dwamena are also out.
Asante Kotoko head to the game after securing a 2-1 win against FC Samartex in Samreboi over the weekend.
This fixture would define if the Porcupine Warriors can push for the title. Kotoko can claim a place within top-four with victory but they will have to expect a stern test.
