Abrankese-based Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Stadium will host this year’s MTN FA Cup semi-finals in May.
With the competition’s quarter finals being decided over the weekend, the four teams left standing will be heading to the newly-built stadium next month.
King Faisal, Skyy FC, Dreams FC and Nsoatreman FC are the remaining teams in the competition.
Alhaji Grusah’s King Faisal brushed past Premier League leaders Aduana Stars with a 3-1 victory on penalties after playing out a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Elsewhere, Nsoatreman FC also advanced with a 1-0 win over RTU at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
Division One League high flyers, Skyy FC beat Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs to book a historic semi-final place, while Dreams FC also humbled Legon Cities in Dawu to progress.
The 2022/23 MTN FA Cup semi-finals are scheduled for May 13 and 14, 2023 at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
The winner of the FA Cup will represent Ghana in the CAF Confederations Cup next season.
