The ‘Trust Elephant Group’ organized a successful Easter Gala at Achiaman in Amasaman, Accra.
Kotoku FC emerged winners of this year’s edition played at Achiaman Sports Stadium.
The one-day event was held on Monday. Seventeen teams competed for the ultimate prize and each had an appearance of Gh¢ 500.
The winner walked a way with a cash prize of Gh¢ 2000. Ayikai-Doblo finished second and walked away with Gh¢1,500, while Samsam followed in third position. They also received a cash reward of Gh¢ 1000.
The competition was sponsored by Mr. Kassim Atta Yahaya, CEO of Kas Estate Ghana Limited.
He urged the youth and the fans to remain united and complement the efforts of the elderly in building the community.
Mr. Kassim also assured the youth that the competition has come to stay. He stated while commending the teams for their impressive performance.
The Trust Elephant Group is a nonprofit organization set up for youth empowerment and community development.
