In-form Amankwaa Baafi has described Hearts of Oak’s 2-1 victory over Nsoatreman FC on Sunday in the BetPawa Premier League as a great win.
The 19-year-old made a valuable contribution to the team’s vital win, scoring the second goal as the Rainbows climbed to third on the league table.
Speaking to StarTimes after the game, the former Republicans forward was delighted with the crucial win.
“It was a good win for us because we are targeting the league and we are taking it step by step so it’s a good win for us.
“My performance I will say is good because our coach initially told us to be mobile upfront and that is what we did and we got the result.”
Accra Hearts of Oak will make a trip to face Bechem United in their next Premier League game. They currently sit third on the league table with 42 points after 26 matches.
