Ghana Premier League giants, Accra Hearts of Oak Football Club have offered Kwadwo Obeng Junior contract extension proposal.
Obeng’s current deal with the Rainbows expires at the end of the season.
However, according to a reliable source from the camp of the striker, there has been a ‘renewal proposal’ from the FA Cup holders over keeping him at the club.
As reported, the 23-year-old has not given the club an answer yet, and the Rainbows are waiting for a response.
But we can exclusively reveal that the striker will meet his manager to decide whether he will extend his contract or leave on a free transfer when his existing deal expires this summer.
Obeng has been linked with a move to an unamed club in Sweden. He will leave on a free transfer if the Ghanaian giants fail to extend his deal.
He joined the Rainbows prior to the 2018 Ghana Premier League from lower tier side Nea Salamina, where he banged thirteen (13) goals in the Division One League and topped it with three goals in the MTN FA Cup.
