Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Frederick Asare appears on course to be available for Kotoko’s game against Karela United on Monday.
Ahead of his team’s fixture with Kotoku Royals, the former Accra Lions goalie sustained an injury, resulting in his absence from the trip to Dawu.
However, Asare has taken to his official Facebook page to show supporters that he is back.
Asare has had some standout performances in goal since joining the Porcupine Warriors. He has provided stiff competition to Danlad Ibrahim this season.
The 23-year-old highly-rated shot-stopper joined the Ghanaian giants on a free transfer in August 2022 after leaving Premier League side Accra Lions FC at the end of last season.
Right now, he is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the league.
