Coach Kassim Mingle has been appointed as head coach of Nations FC ahead of the 2023/24 saeson.
The 65-year-old tactician joins the newly-promoted side following his resignation as Bechem United coach. He stepped down as head coach of the Hunters after guiding them to finish third in the just ended Ghana Premier League.
Mingle is a recognised tactician with a wealth of leadership experience gained over many years in his coaching career.
He returned to Bechem United in 2021, having previously guided the team to secure their second promotion into the Ghana Premier League in the 2013/14 season.
In his debut season, he led the Hunters to the finals of the 2022 MTN FA Cup, where they lost 2-1 to record holders Accra Hearts of Oak and also finished in the top four at the end of the season.
He would be deputized by by Johnson Smith, who led the team for a historic GPL promotion in the next campaign.
Nations FC secured qualification to the top-flight as champions of Access Bank Division One League Zone 2.
