Former Black Stars of Ghana midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has hinted at a possible return to his former side, Asante Kotoko.
The midfielder joined the Porcupine Warriors on loan from Berekum Arsenal in 2008.
During his loan spell at the club, Badu made 18 appearances and scored twice.
However, the U-20 World Cup winner joined Accra Great Olympics on a one-year deal during the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season after leaving Qingdao.
However, Agyemang-Badu left the club on mutual grounds and has since then joined no club.
Speaking in an interview, the former Black Stars midfielder revealed that his contract with Olympics has ended and remains a free agent.
“My contract with Great Olympics has ended and I’m available for any team that will meet my demands,” he told Kumasi-based Akoma FM.
He also hinted at a possible return to the Asante Kotoko.
“On the question of my rejoining Asante Kotoko, I will tell the fans to be patient and wait for Manhyia to complete the administrative processes.
“When Kotoko presents an offer after that and I find it favourable, I will sign and rejoin them,” he added.
Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu made 78 appearances for the Black Stars and scored 11 goals. He was part of the squad that featured at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
He has also featured for Udinese Calcio, Hellas Verona among other clubs.
