Asante Kotoko wee held to a 1-1 drawn game in their first pre-season friendly match ahead of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
The match took place at the Dr. KK Sarpong stadium in Beposo.
Ivorian midfielder Eric Serge Zeze netted in the second half to equalize for the team of Prosper Narteh Ogum. The game also marks the first non-competitive match for the Reds under the second stint of the former WAFA trainer who has returned to the club thanks to an intervention by Otumfour Osei Tutu II.
Ebenezer Krobia struck first to put Kharis ahead in the first half but Zeze prevented a defeat for his side with his second period effort.
