Accra Hearts of Oak are heading to Koforidua for their pre-season ahead of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League as Marin Koopman and his team are expected to arrive in the Eastern region on Monday 4th September 2023.
The Phobians play another pre-season friendly at the Pobiman Park on Wednesday. They will be in action again on Sunday before making the trip to Koforidua to continue their preparations.
Koopman was recently confirmed as head coach of the Ghanaian giants following the departures of Slavko Matic and David Ocloo who led the team last season.
The Continental Club Masters have recorded big wins from their two test matches; 11-1 against Miracle Land FC and 4-1 against Lazio Spot.
The new season begins on 15th September. Hearts of Oak open their season at Real Tamale United before welcoming Nsoatreman FC in Accra on September 23rd. They go to Bofoakwa Tano on September 30th for their Match-Day Three encounter. Matches against Dreams FC and Heart of Lions follow.
